Everything But the Haircut
The work spanned brand and positioning, content strategy, photography art direction, and a full website design and build — all grounded in a clear voice and tone, with social best practices built in from the start.
Ready to Match Their In-Person Energy
P. La Salon wasn't struggling. They had a loyal client base, great word of mouth, and five-star reviews that read like love letters. But their digital presence didn't match the experience. The website was dated, slow, and hard to use on mobile. Their photos didn't capture the energy or diversity of their clientele. In person they radiated style and personality, but online they looked like just another salon.

Come As You Are, Leave As Your Best
We started by listening. Clients loved P. La not just for the expert haircuts and color, but for the energy — welcoming, unpretentious, and effortlessly cool. We turned that vibe into a simple but sticky positioning line: "Come as you are. Leave as your best." From there, we built a brand language that felt like the salon itself: confident, casual, and real. Instead of polished hair-only shots, we focused on the people, because what makes P. La shine isn't just the stylists, it's the community.
A Digital Home Built Around the Community
We partnered with photographer John Roe for a one-day shoot designed to do it all: bold customer-forward imagery, natural portraits of the stylists, and clean shots of the space. The new website was built mobile-first and SEO-optimized, with quick load times and full CRM integration for easy newsletter signups. Each stylist got a custom profile page that gave them space to show their personality, their work, and their vibe — a digital calling card they could be proud to share.

From Page Two to Prime Real Estate
P. La finally has a digital home that feels like them. The site is fast, modern, and differentiated, built to attract new clients and elevate the experience for returning ones. Stylists now have a tool that helps build their personal brand, not just the salon's. The photography does what word of mouth can't: show the energy of the space before you ever step inside.
